This is Dinagar Raghunathan. The best day of my life is day when I was born with my twin brother, Diwakar Raghunathan, in Chennai, India on June 10th. Twins born with sun sign Gemini. We are totally inseparable. My dad (Raghunathan) works @ Allahabad Bank, Patna, India and my mom (Nalina Raghunathan) is a home maker.

      I spent my initial childhood in various cities and towns in Tamil Nadu, India and later shifted our living to Calcutta, India. Those days were my best days. I lived in Calcutta for 7 years. That’s when my dad got us a new computer. We were totally excited with the computer and we quickly mastered DOS, WordStar and BASIC programming.

      Later my brother and I moved to Trichy, India which was crucial period of our life (8th - 12th Standards). We had a blast in our high school. My twin bro and I were the quite famous in my high school. We were the captains of our houses (Students from different grades grouped together for cultural and sports activities) in School. We were excelled in all the sports and extra circular activities. We were also awarded as the best dance group in the district dance competition. We have represented our school in the District level Basket Ball tournament. Though my primary interest was towards Computer Science, I opted for biology during my high school to get variety of knowledge.

      Fortunately, my dad got transferred to Chennai right after my high school. My brother and I were looking for better undergraduate schools under University of Madras and finally, ended up with Thangavelu Engineering College, Chennai, India. Four years of under-graduation in Computer Science and Engineering helped me to mold myself well to become a successful Software Engineer. During my college days, I, actively, participated in various inter college Technical Symposium at National Level. In the year 2002 - 2003, I was the highest award winning student in my college and was greatly appreciated by my Principal. In my final year of my college days, I was involved in development of various projects. My final year project, Loner - a third person shooter game, was rated as the best project by the Department of Computer Science Panel and was highly appreciated.

      Soon after my graduation, I was employed in a Software Company @ Chennai. I was involved in development of various projects in Mobile OS development, Health Care, Dashboard and eLearning. I also visited my client's office for requirement gathering, knowledge transfer and project installation for a month. It was also one among the best days of my life.

      It was always my plan for me to do Masters Degree with some IT experience. By Fall 2007, I got enrolled into the university Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago as a Graduate Student. Here, I am doing my MS in CS.

      I love to travel, bike, sketch, swim, play Table Tennis, enjoy music and play games. My favourite band is Linkin Park.
